One year ago, I posted a list of 5 books that have inspired me tremendously. I still use them as an inspiration for my workshops and life coaching sessions but during the past year I also came across some other books that I´d love to share with you.
Tuesdays with Morrie - Mitch Albom
This book first got published in 1997 and many copies have been sold ever since. The writer describes his weekly meetings with his old college professor, who is now dying. It is a truly beautiful, pure and essential read about the important things in life and the beauty of it all.
Inner Engineering: A Yog´s Guide to Joy - Sadhguru
You might have noticed on my Facebook page that I often post articles and videos from Sadhguru. This man is a great inspiration to me and millions of other people around the world. In this bestseller he describes in a simple and understandable manner, what we can do to liberate ourselves from our own psychological drama. What we can do start living and enjoying life to the fullest.
Ikigai - Héctor García and Francesc Miralles
This book is a great introduction into the concept op Ikigai - the so called Japanese secret to a long and happy life. It describes the lives of the elderly on the island of Okinawa in Japan, where the life expectancy is the highest on this planet. Even though this book doesn't go too deep into how to find your Ikigai, it is a pleasant read with inspiring stories from many happy people.
How to Teach Quantum Mechanics to Your Dog - Chad Orzel
This book is one of my all-time favorites! I've had it for many years and every now and then I go back to it. You might wonder why would put I book about quantum mechanics in this list.. well I can only recommend you to read it. And you'll never look at the world the same way again.
Molecules of Emotion - Candace B. Pert
In this book Pert shows us, how through her personal experience, she came to discover the molecules behind our emotions. It's a great insight into the chemistry of our system, and can show us why it's so hard sometimes to change our behavior and our emotions.
